better than neca

the flaws with the neca figure were that the necks were too long, this figure seems to have corrected that issue, and its a better looking design all around. i definitely want this, too bad it will cost a fortune.

has a great interview, and additional pics, also a pic of leo, and comparison with playmates.

Aw man, now you've got me drooling again. :tlol: Casey Jones to come after?! Hell. These look superb. Extra accessories (Utrom?!), extra heads, more characters down the line, I may have to resort to selling blood for these. :trazz:

vaizardv 07-02-2015 12:14 PM

yeah! that casey preview looks really nice, I really need to find out what the price range will be for all this, I ordered two of the first turtles, I would love some more Mondo stuff!!

Was just going to post this!

So amazing!! I seriously can't wait for these and knowing that there could very well be a series 2 featuring more comic characters has me even more excited. A Shredder and Foot soldier with that kind of detail and articulation may very well top NECA's prototypes and make me forget about them. Looks like these will be on my Christmas list. Hoping so much that they are $100 or lower though or else it may take me a while to get them.

These look awesome, but the size (and price tag) will keep these out of my hands, I think. If only they were in the 6" scale, I'd be all over whatever they do next... Utroms and Shredder and Casey and more to go along with my NECA Turtles and April would be amazing. But at the rate they're pumping out specialty merch these days, I guess anything's possible?

HotJuicyBurgers 07-02-2015 01:49 PM

These figures get more and more appealing every day... I just feel like i've been tempted with shredder and casey figures before. Buy these turtles and MAYBE we'll make some other figures.

Granted they look amazing.

Also, Mondo stuff brings out the crazies man.. I can almost guarantee these things will sell out despite their crazy shipping costs on top of whatever they charge for them.

I enjoyed that article and the additional pictures.
Very determined to get a set of these, but I'll have to through their web site I think.
I do like that the range may continue beyond the 4 bros, and that the figures come complete with extras. Yup, definitely a good looking figure set.

Candy Kappa 07-02-2015 02:46 PM

Damn... I might look into some 1/6th figures.

Excellent...I stand corrected. I think I'll go through them because of the flex payments and I have a good amount of rewards built up.

So does Sideshow do monthly payment programs or something? I 've never order from there and I'd totally be up for these of that's a possibility.

Yeah they have different payment options for most items. You pay the installments and then they ship it once you pay the final installment. You can choose what day of the month you want to be charged. You don't get rewards points until after it ships.

Those Utrom fingers look creepy.
I don't think I will worry too much if I miss out on the Shredder's gauntlet.
Cool Casey mask, hope it's not too expensive and is out by Halloween.

ctt4lfecw 07-02-2015 09:39 PM

I don't know. It seems like every time we get up to other characters after the 4 Turtles come out, somehow the line gets cancelled. I want Mirage Shredder so bad. We'll just have to wait and see.

I've just read that Three Zero are releasing Kevin Eastman designed 1:6 comic Turtles. To be revealed at sdcc.
So, 2 companies doing lines based on the comic Turtles. Interesting!
