The Current Event forum should be renamed The R.I.P Forum
RIP Current Event forum but your time has also come.
|
What the heck are you talking about? Just because there have been deaths doesn't mean that the forum's gone by the way side.
|
Clearly you haven't gone or checked the percentage of thread titles in the forum for the last few years.
|
So? What's wrong with there being news about deaths? I just don't get where you're coming from with this.
|
I'm with Bubbly here. That part of the forum is when i actually find out about deaths. I think it's fine how it is.
|
It doesn't Always have to be deaths...
Other than religion and politics, you can put any kind of news there. :) |
Exactly. Yeah it's been infused with a lot of deaths lately, but I don't see the problem with it.
|
How about we add to the title instead?
"Current Events -- Now With 80% More Death" |
I once suggested, eons ago, that there simply be one topic for all celebrity/notable/whatever deaths. But I believe the response was that the topic creation in that portion of the board would all but die if that happened.
|
Can we rename the current event forum to the sexual harassment forum?

Even though that topic is currently trending, I don't think that warrants a title change. Besides, I think it will only predominate other topics/news momentarily, if not for a little while. |

But from the point of view of the modern climate, as well, in general, it's a bad idea. Not that I think anyone will try to do something like this. Or can they...? /looks around :teek: |
Nah, you guys have been much better about that sort of thing in the last five years or so.
I don't think it requires changing the forum name now. |
Can we rename the current event forum to the "I'm outraged" forum?
|
Or "This person died and I'm outraged, but not at that."
