The Technodrome's 17th Anniversary

Besides being Halloween, today is also The Technodrome's seventeenth anniversary! Thanks to everyone who has stuck with us over the years, both on the main site and on the forums. We appreciate your support!

CylonsKlingonsDaleksOhMy 10-31-2016 04:29 PM

Damn, he's still with us! HE LIVES!!!

Happy 17th, Technodrome! Sorry Daddy didn't buy you a car last year for your Sweet Sixteen. :trazz:

Utrommaniac 10-31-2016 06:11 PM

Well, I guess this makes this my first forum anniversary :D .

Optimus Primer 11-03-2016 09:19 AM

The Deadman 11-03-2016 06:10 PM

Woo, party! Can I get my name changed now? :P.

Powder 11-03-2016 06:50 PM

Best place on the web right here.

CyberCubed 11-03-2016 07:35 PM

Just think 17 years ago in 1999 the internet was still in its infancy and this site is still alive.

Goddamn, 1999. Just thinking about that year gives me goosebumps. The internet was such a smaller place. Geocities and yahoo groups, and so forth.

mrmaczaps 11-03-2016 09:04 PM

Theres a "main site"? hahaha

Congrats on 17 years Drome.

Krutch 11-04-2016 11:35 AM

Fortunecity was the sh*t back in the day. 20 megs of space instead of Geocities' 5. That was a game changer.

thundermaster612 11-04-2016 04:42 PM

'Bout time this happened

members.aol.com only gave you 2 MB per screenname. I had to make a secondary profile to have enough space. Then 2008 they ended the free FTP service. Man, those were some crazy times.

Totally missed this post. Congratulations fellow TMNT geeks! Glad to be a part of this.

Tartaruhga Muhtante 11-05-2016 06:08 AM

Congratulations!!

And LONG LIVE AND PROSPER!!

I visit this site since 2003, but how i don't speak english (correctly) i feelling whithout courage to join it. It was a big mistake because i left to meet many, many interesting peoples and trade ideas. My Fault . But it's past , and same speaking very wrong is a satisfaction for me to be in here.

At least an Internet forum that still lives, in a time of social media.

snake 11-05-2016 08:49 AM

I'll be around as long as this forum lives

DarkFell 11-05-2016 11:43 AM

Okay, I'll stop by here too. Happy Sinister Seventeenth.

TheCanadiandrome 11-13-2016 02:39 AM

MsMarvelDuckie 11-23-2016 07:09 PM

How did I miss this? Heres to 17 great years and hopefully many more to come.

robb0226 12-01-2016 01:25 PM

I may have only been here for the past few, but 17 years and the community being this active still is quite impressive. Congrats everyone!

Prowler 12-04-2016 07:15 PM

17 years and still going. Not bad for a fairly small and obscure internet message board!

And I might not be a veteran but, truth be told, I've already been here since early 2009, when I was still a teenager(18 years old, to be precise). 2009 was already nearly 8 years ago. Time flies.

Powder 12-04-2016 07:18 PM

Ah, didn't realize we were the same age. For some reason I always thought you were older than me, early or mid 30's.

That's funny... I used to think that about you as well for a while as well LOL. Maybe cuz we both love retrogames and like the FW series?

Machias Banshee 12-05-2016 07:31 PM

Good Lord... and to think I've been here for 15 years of it (official as of this wednesday).

Happy anniversary, everyone.

Wow! 17 years! Keep going "Drome"! Like some people, here. I had an AOL account, well I still have it, but I don't go to that site anymore. AOL 3.1 remember? Celebrated 4 years on this forum last month.

dragonside 02-08-2017 09:13 PM

The Drome is almost legal age. wow. Happy Birthday Technodrome

TurtleWA 10-03-2017 11:04 PM

Well it took me a long time to find this place. I'm very glad I finally did become a member. :tgrin:

Approaching the 18 year anniversary already. That's awesome!

newfan 10-04-2017 12:25 AM

I wonder how many members have been here almost from the start?

Happy birthday Drome
