I like Seyfried, but I've always imagined Ivy being a bit more physically imposing.

Yeah, her whole thing is luring people (men, primarily) into a false sense of security. Kiss me, fool! Then oh, sh*t, you're dead, oh damn, you didn't realize I had a million toxins in that kiss? If she's literally physically imposing that sort of defeats that a bit. Or at least would make her rely more on her pheromones than she should probably need to out of the box... and in a film wouldn't translate right.

I don't know if she's physically imposing but she is more convincing. I recommend "Chloe" as it shows off how seductive she can be. It was actually released the same year as Jennifer's Body.

Amanda Seyfried is too pure and innocent. We need a saucy vixen like Nicole Kidman or Scarlett Johannson for Poison Ivy tbh.

Well, that's the thing. Her gimmick is flowers, and the most dangerous plants seem to look normal and appealing.

I think this might be fake news. Ayer talked about the project st SDCC and just posted a picture of Harley on twitter which I'm guessing is his way of refuting these rumors.

Or he's just trying to make people think he wasn't removed from the project.

According to Variety, Mary Elizabeth Winstead is Huntress and Jurnee Smollett-Bell is Black Canary in Birds of Prey.

At least the chick playing Canary is a light skinned black girl so it won't be super black black canary

At this point, I think I've lost all faith in every aspect of the DC media platform.

The movies? Rumors of Henry Cavill being let go, this weird Joker Elseworlds film, the Justice League that had no Green Lantern and fought Steppenwolf, Birds of Prey with Harley Quinn instead of Barbara Gordon...

The TV shows, with their "fvck Batman" line ruining a perfectly good Robin, the continual CW soap slog of shows, and the Titans costumes (especially Starfire)...

And even the comics, with Heroes in Crisis, everything about Tom King, and Dick Grayson getting amnesia...

It's not a great time to be a DC fan. :tgrumble:
