FoxBox and 4Kids TV Bumpers and Advertisements

Hello. I was wondering if anyone has or knows where to find most of the bumpers and advertisements that the FoxBox and 4Kids TV aired for the show, such as the episode previews and the commercial break bumpers. It would be great to have them all listed and organized for easy viewing, since I always felt like they were as much a part of the show as the cartoon itself.

TheSkeletonMan939 04-24-2014 06:56 PM

I'd suspect most have been lost to time, but there was one site where someone collected a bunch of random TMNT 2003 videos - Under Manhattan. Most if not all of them are from season four.

This old site has a TV spot for a season one episode. It's pretty neat to just click around the site.

TheSkeletonMan939, thanks for the link! I've never seen any of these.

Also there's Exodus II perview, which I think is awesome.

Thanks for the season 4 link! I haven't checked everything out yet, but obviously this is stuff that I haven't seen in more than 8 years! The season 4 KB preview also had a version with the Shredder in it, but I can't find it anywhere. The FoxBox site is nothing new to me, but the "The Shredder Strikes Back Part 2" preview was my first glimpse at what the cartoon was actually like (I got into the series a little late, around mid August of 2003).

Yea i want the english link aswell. This site seems awesome!

The-Shredder 04-25-2014 10:36 AM

The only traces of the English version of the site that I could find were through archive.org and not everything from the site was archived.

Also, I have some of the "Who's That Turtle? Sweepstakes" commercials, a preview of the premiere, as well as the first sneak peak of the theme song and unfinished intro that aired on the FoxBox (which has some of the characters from other shows giving a go at it). I got these from the Ninja Turtles Network site in 2005, but it has been dead for a while now.

Plus, here's the countdown to the premiere that aired before the first episode, as well as Michelangelo making a funny comment about missing the premiere at the end credits. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LK0---0QEQg

Here's a playlist of some of the FoxBox Bios and a few advertisements as well. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...C94241BDBC6817

TheBlueTurtle1 04-26-2014 04:32 AM

lol at Ronald McDonald, anyway, thanks for these links awesome stuff, I can't remember some of these. I just miss and love this show, I really want a DVD boxset:x

Man, I saw this thread, read through it, but didn't check out the links ... I guess until it was too late. I missed out! Erg... would've been cool.

Do you have the individual tracks from Michelangelo's jukebox saved by any chance?

TheSkeletonMan939 04-30-2014 02:42 PM

I incorporated most, if not all of the tracks in my soundtrack for this series. I may or may not have the original tracks saved on my old computer.

This video has a local Rochester, NY bumper (around the 12:00 mark). There's also an ad for the Battle Nexus 2 on GBA. I'm sure there were other local station bumpers, similar to how the OT had local promos for the show. I suggest looking for "Sold as blanks" lots of blank VHS tapes online or at yard sales- who knows what will turn up. Unfortunately, I wasn't into TMNT at the time, though I do have a few VHS tapes of Adult Swim from around 2003 or so.

100th Post!

I am bumping this thread because I have uploaded some FoxBox promos from January-February, 2003 that I downloaded from the old ninjaturtlesnetwork.com a very long time ago. I also have some "Totally Made-up News Team News Fake" videos as well, but I believe you can already find those on YouTube and the DVDs.

The videos are a preview of the theme song (with a sick freestyle from King Dedede), the "Who's That Turtle? Sweepstakes" character bios, and a promo for the premiere. You couldn't find these anywhere else, until now. Enjoy!

TheSkeletonMan939 07-01-2016 06:37 PM

Thanks for bringing these back to life!

That prototype theme song was awesome. I think I like the sound mix a little better than the final version's!

Gunstar_Red 07-04-2016 12:11 AM

Nice! I never seen them before. Thanks for the videos. ^^

2003

I recall first seeing it as a DVD somewhere in 2003.

So remind me again who did the 'WHOS THAT (name)?!??!' first? was it Pokémon or TMNT

Pokemon. It first aired in 1998 in the US, long before TMNT 2k3.

Prowler 07-04-2016 08:57 PM

I remember seeing a few of those videos in Fox Box's website back in 2003-2004 or so. I also remember how each show had its own page on that website. A poll asking which was your favorite turtle... Leonardo lead with about 45% of the votes. Donatello came in dead last.

More Promos

I just uploaded some more. These could already be found on dailymotion.com/residentevil7, but I decided to reupload them to YouTube for more exposure. Should I upload the Season 4 previews from Under Manhattan as well? Also, someone commented on the videos asking if there are any more from ninjaturtlesnetwork.com. Since Vegita-San no longer runs the site, and I didn't download all the videos, I don't know if the original video files still exist, so I will have to ask about that.

If there's one video that I really want to get my hands on, it's definitely the "Hun is on the Run" rap, which was a preview for the episode, if anyone remembers that.

Season 4 Promos and Previews

After almost two years, I have finally got around to uploading new videos! Under Manhattan seems to have gone offline, but fortunately I downloaded all the Season 4 videos years ago. I will be uploading more throughout the weekend. I also added some playlists with videos from other channels dedicated to archiving T.V. recordings. Enjoy! All credit is where it's due.

More Season 4 Previews

Here are some more Season 4 episode previews.

I'm more interested in the shorts. I have been able to find the flash animated ones but I know there are ones animated like the show, though I've just seen stills of them.

Do you mean these?

Final Batch of Season 4 Previews

Here are the last individual Season 4 episode previews from Under Manhattan. I've seen a few more season 4 episode previews on YouTube, but they are scattered across several 10-20 minute videos of other 4Kids TV ads, so it will take a while to gather them all.

Thanks for the finds and for sharing them. Looking at the video game commercial seems fitting where I'm concerned: been occassionally playing the first two Konami games. XD

They are so much fun. Mutant Mightmare is also a blast, possibly the best of the 3.

Yeah, what I’ve heard of it is tempting as well. Shame it was never released for the PC to my knowledge, unlike the previous two.

The-Shredder 04-12-2019 03:54 PM

Hoodwinked!

Anybody remember the movie Hoodwinked? There were a series of promos made for the movie where Michelangelo tries to figure out who the Goody Bandit (the villain) is and Master Splinter scolds him for choosing the wrong suspect. Here they are on my YouTube channel. Again, these aren't my recordings. I got them from Under Manhattan before it went down.

Any UK previews (e.g CITV or Jetix) on the internet? Would love to see these (presuming I am not misremembering their existence) for the first time in 15 years

Nothing on YouTube from Jetix, but I did find two CITV Fast Forward videos.

DVD Promos, Playmates Toys Commercials, and Mutant Nightmare Trailer

In late 2005, single episode DVDs of Things Change, A Better Mousetrap, and I think Attack of the Mousers were packed in as a bonus with TMNT Playmates Toys action figures. I got Things Change and A Better Mousetrap with an April O'Neil and a Feudal Shredder figure. Here is the DVD menu and the promos that came included with each DVD.

I know, right? It feels really good to share rare stuff like this. Playmates also packed in DVDs with other early Season 1 episodes in 2004, but I have no idea what's on those.

If anyone has anything from their old hard drives, tapes, DVDs, DVR, TiVo, etc. that isn't online yet in high quality, please don't hesitate to share them! My holy grail is the Hun on the Run episode preview with the Hun is on the Run rap lol. :tgrin:
