These are the only ones I have at the moment. http://i1265.photobucket.com/albums/...7/IMAG0042.jpg I'm going to start focusing on the gremlins that I want now. Mainly George, daffy, and flasher. I also have the green stunt puppet on the way. I've always wanted a full size gremlin to display and for the price I feel like there a decent deal even though it leaves a little to be desired in the paint app. I'll post a pic of him when he arrives.

I actually kept my Freddy figs in package... my local comic shop sells generic oval-shaped black stands for these types of action figures though. You might want to visit a local shop and see if they have anything similar. Unfortunate to hear about this issue 'cause the figures themselves look so great.

^ Awesome, Stripe looks great. I love the little Gremlin figures.
Sad Gizmo was another worth picking up, mind you for the price, I wish we could purchase swappable heads.

I'm currently living in a tiny town in the south of Spain where they've never even heard the concept "local comic shop".

The issue with the Freddys is not actually that bad, but they always feel like they're about to fall over, so I've been looking online but I don't really like what I've found so far.

Digital Ghost 03-08-2013 04:46 PM

Sorry, had no idea about the location situation.
Yeah, the way you describe them reminds me of McFarlane or any statuesque NECA figure. When displaying, I just try to keep them in a place where they won't fall and break, like a cabinet or something. Sucks though, 'cause I know how you feel. Those bad boys are meant to be seen. I wish I knew of something better to suggest. :(

Went to the comic shop on my lunch break today and I'm glad I did.
They received the Predator 'Series 8' figures.

- Jungle Hunter Predator
- Jungle Extraction Dutch
- Jungle Patrol Dutch

At first glance, Jungle Hunter Pred seems to be a remake of the early Masked Predator from the first wave with better paint apps, etc. Will have to compare the two.

They look really good and it's nice to see a wave consisting of more than just stylized Predators. There's getting to be so many, I wouldn't be surprised if we see 'Santa Predator' à la their Gremlins figures.

Nice new figures dude

Digital Ghost 03-12-2013 03:53 PM

^ Thanks bro. I FINALLY caved and picked up the 19" version on eBay. I had put off purchasing it originally which was a mistake, considering what they sell for now. Thankfully, I purchased one that's had slight custom work done to it. 8)

Those predator figures are incredible!

Sick bro! Love it

recent purachases, no pics at the moment:

walking dead michonne, pet 1, pet 2, merle. i'll probably never be able to get the older figures such as daryl, they sell for outrageous amounts now. anyway, the older figures have terrible articulation and locked-in poses. this new wave is a little better in that regard. looking forward to the carl figure later this year, the sculpt is really well done. child characters are really difficult to capture in action figures.

iron man legends wave 1 (classic, heroic age and iron patriot). Didn't really want iron patriot (it's mostly a repaint of extremis iron man that i already have) but I want that build-a-figure this time. gotta wait for iron man legends wave 2 to finish it off though.

lego iron man 3 sets

dc comics unlimited wonder woman based on the new 52 design. just ordered the last one i saw on amazon.

other than that... just saving money for a bunch of figmas later this year, mulling over my first hot toys purchase and waiting on TMNT wave 4

Picked up a few Pop Vinyls. Ghost Rider, Hawkman and this guy:

I also got a Daredevil Marvel Select figure for 9.99 at the Disney store. not too shabby.

I'm still debating the new Venom Marvel Select figure.

I might buy anyway because they could be the last super high-quality KH figures made

Amazon had this listed for $19 and change, due to the box being shoddy. Not bad for something that can go for upwards of 40.

Dwarfs Voltron and the other 80's toon toys. Now for Panthro.

TheCanadiandrome 03-18-2013 10:20 PM

dude that's a sick Lion-O

Digital Ghost 03-23-2013 08:58 AM

^ Sweet Thundercats fig... I found a Lion-O at Winners for $6 bucks... can't recall the specific wave it's from but it seems comparable to a TMNT Classics, design-wise.

Picked up TF Fall of Cybertron 'Shockwave', 'Grimlock' and Prime Voyager 'Starscream' this week, as TRU & Wal Mart have some sales going. Shockwave for $10 beats the $18+ price point I've seen since its release. He seems a tad small compared to the rest of the figures. :ohwell:

Small haul. Haven't been able to find any new MU singles since the Herc and Nighthawk a while back. Lucked out on a West Coast Avengers box at TRU. Was at three places today and all they had in singles were old crap.

Digital Ghost 03-28-2013 09:07 PM

A nice Transformers haul today. The PRID deluxes are on sale at all Winners stores. Quite helpful, considering there were quite a few I passed on originally.
The First Edition Cliffjumper, Magnus & Voyagers are from TRU though.
