I assume this game was delayed to 2022 since we're nearly in September and we haven't seen any updates since the first reveal trailer.

Yeah, 2022 is probably safe. They have a Facebook account but the "updates" are just short videos of each turtle and each one is just clipped from the original trailer so they aren't actually new footage.

It's an indie game and a 2D beat em up, it'll come out in this year.

Well, with every bit of good news comes a little disappointment. I thought the dev team was considerably far along when the game was announced back in the spring, so if they decided to take a few more months to polish mechanics and expand content, then I'm all in favor of that!

This year is ****, so it was expected.
Playable classic April is funny.

I will beat the turtles and then upload the video here for evryone to see what happens to my enemies!!! GRRR yes it is very bad that it got delayed! It was going to be the best game of the year and best action game of the year... Now it will be best game of 2022!!!

Well, it's cool, but it takes some suspension of belief for me to believe April is going to be on the field kicking ass like that. But, fun comes above all else so, why not.
