Lost an auction for a masked Deathstroke figure. So I purchased an unmasked one for half the price.

Eventually I'll find a store carrying the second wave of Batman Unlimited, so I can get an old man Batman to go with my new Old Man Deathstroke.

I picked up two of those Mario 3d Land danglers, and got the two I wanted. Mario without the hat, and stone Mario. They'll reside on my work keys for now.

Thanks to some assistance from Ninjinister, I won an auction for an X-Baby Cyclops, and Brown suit Wolverine for like $7.

Got movie masters Man of Steel Superman, Jor-El and Zod. Mostly happy with the likenesses, but Jor-El's is the more disappointing one. I wanted to get these just to have some Man of Steel figures, since I'm not sure if I'll opt for any of the more expensive figures coming out of Japan yet. I tend to gravitate only towards 6" scale stuff but I've seen the previews for the Hot Toys and I cant wait to see the head sculpts.

Not sure if anyone else is interested, but BBTS just let out that they have some previously Matty Collector/SDCC exclusive figures that are on closeout.

Namely the much sought after DCUC Swamp Thing for $15.99, instead of the $50+ he tends to get on eBay.

I preordered Swamp Thing, just because I was miffed I missed out last time.


As an aside...I did also get a Marvel Legends Nightcrawler from ToyBiz, which might be my favorite Nightcrawler ever.

Ha! I just saw you post those Batmen and Superman at the ark!

$4 seems like the right price for those Batman/SUperman figures. I've been wanting that blue/grey Batman, but the $10 Walmart and Target are asking is insane.

Yeah makes me wish we had those kinds of stores up here. No Family Dollars, Dollar Generals, Family Generals, or whatever.
