Got my old man Batman! He's so chunky, its great.

Slap-Happy 06-20-2013 11:23 PM

That figure almost reminds me of a Dick Sprang version of DKR. It has a more classical design to it.

Digital Ghost 06-21-2013 05:02 PM

Picked up the three Movie Masters 'Superman' figs from Walmart. Faora, General Zod and good ol' Supes. I must say, their paint apps (at least the ones I snagged) are great.

Ninjinister 06-22-2013 07:53 AM

I've got a lot of neat DC stuff coming in the post. I'm excited.

Digital Ghost 06-22-2013 08:51 PM

Awesome Ninjinister, look forward to seeing it.

My wife came home with a big surprise... NECA's 1/4 scale Iron Man! :D

I won't remove this bad boy until I can pose it safely... read a few horror stories about them toppling.

 and we do have a cat... Thankfully he's more relaxed and doesn't break the meowmorabilia. ;)

Recent acquisitions:

man of steel movie masters.
* superman (regular, not the one with the command key. that one is hard to find!)
* general zod (no armor)
* general zod in kryptonian armor (with removable helmet! this one is awesome.)
* faora (also in kryptonian armor. quite nice)
* Jor-El in Kryptonian armor.
For me these are the best movie masters figures Mattel has yet released. Better than TDKR line.

shipping soon:
figma gon from hunter x hunter
figma killua from hunter x hunter
Red Canti from FLCL
Blue Canti from FLCL

NICE! I have that one and the other 6" Hobbit figures... I wasn't sure if I'd like them since Toy Biz set a really high standard for the line when it did TLOTR trilogy, but they hold up nicely. I hope they release more 6" for the following movies, but I get the impression the line didn't do so well... we'll see :( The accessories/weapons they come with are really great.

it's a toy show. cheap stuff. if I kick myself for NOT getting one expensive thing, the Tendril from Inhumanoids, for $40, but I instead bought a dozen cheaper figures. It's been an expensive month, with TWO toy shows: on in Greensboro the first week-end, and then this one this week-end in Raleigh. normally toy shows come 3x a year to Raleigh, 2x in GSO, so it's only 5x a year I splurge like this. I only take $100 (which is a lot, but i stretch it there). i just put the prices so you won't think so. as you see, most of the figures are around $3-4 each.

Ninjinister 06-24-2013 01:45 PM

Man, still... it seems insane, man. I'm always seeing you post stuff and think to myself about how impressive the hauls are.

I got two of my DC figs in today. Gonna wait 'til they all arrive before taking a photo.

Falconhood 06-25-2013 08:03 AM

What I have in plastic, I lack in the company of family and women. I hope you do not envy me, these plastic things are but a distraction. I'd gladly trade them all for a loving and not insane wife.
Speaking of wife, a new version of my first girlfriend ever:
New 52 Wonder Woman...AT LAST!

Brodie 06-25-2013 09:04 AM

Enjoy that Wonder Woman, its probably my favorite version.

Falconhood 06-25-2013 01:34 PM

WalGreens had 3 of these left over from Christmas, and the manager gave me 75% off, so it was only $13.33 out the door! I'm so excited about it! It's tons of fun, and if i can find my MEGADRIVE games, it will play those TOO. It's so much fun playing Sega games on a 37" Flat Screen, which i've NEVER done before. It has GOLDEN AXE III, which has NEVER sold in the USA (in hard copy) before! But, my love is for GAIRES, and other shoot'em-ups!

cool! Thanks!
that's RIGHT! Universal Game Cases! And some DVD cases for Disc Games...because CLEAR is BETTER!
The NEW one on the left are much clearer than the older ones on the right. Could it be from age, or just improvements in manufacturing?
Good thing I went to Office Max yesterday to print about 20 UGC cases, and a few PSONE cases for the DVD cases..
Some SNES I just put in the new cases, Phalanx(I hate the USA cover), and Brawl Brothers
Kool-Aid Man in UGC

AT-Man 06-26-2013 10:12 AM

Clamp Champ, Grizzlor & Stinkor. Yeah, baby!

Zulithe 06-26-2013 07:51 PM

Got some stuff coming in from Japan hopefully Friday (posted about above)

But I'm feeling some NECA lust today.

I really want NECA Gordon Freeman, trying to find him at a good price.

I bought the NECA Lone Ranger & Tonto 2-pack on amazon. This just went in stock today.

REALLY want the Pacific Rim 3 figure wave 1. Thinking about just ordering it on BBTS instead of waiting on amazon

Ninjinister 06-27-2013 12:30 AM

Just a suggestion, I think for the future, at least, your classic vidya game scores should be posted here:

Come join the fun!
