I couldn't find a catch-all thread for action figure photography, so I figured I'd just start one. I recently got a new camera and an iPad, which means I finally have capable tech to snap the occasional fun photo when inspiration strikes.

I finally bought the Super7 Rocksteady via Amazon sale, and he arrived yesterday, so I had this idea:

I have always been fascinated by her "concealed carry" accessory and I'm really glad it didn't get censored out of the Super7 release.

Really awesome man! The only reason I got into figure collecting was because of cool figure photography I saw on the inter-webs lol. Keep it up bro, I can't wait to snap some pics of my own.

And then April picks up her head and tucks it under her arm and walks off foreshadowing a future reveal that she's an Utrom right?

I never really figure out what the characters might be "saying" as I just picked a head and pose that seemed interesting in the moment. Maybe one day...

1. Thanks! I hadn't played enough Tekken to know that was a thing! Very funny. I guess I was thinking it had something to do with reviving a beheaded combatant.

2. That's so kinky, heh. I actually haven't seen many (if any) photos online of Cat April without the collar, as I'm guessing most folks don't want to risk pulling off the head, since NECA never advertised it as a feature, with maybe the exception of the Fwoosh promotional photos. I recently picked up a spare Cat April, so now I have the option of using one with or without collar for future photos, no more hair dryer prep-work required!

had to run mine under water to get her head off, can't believe how sharp her teeth are. can't believe how sharp a lot of neca stuff is, cut my thumb yesterday on scrags human head trying to get it back on. and before you say it, i'm not as accident prone as you might think.

Yeah, the head is not comfortable to grip tightly! I actually find the "spikeyst" part to be her hair, as I try not to put my fingers on her facial features for fear of it coming apart.
The Secret of the Ooze Tokka could truly be a safety hazard!

imagine the pain of stepping on him in the dark if he fell off the shelf. good work on the pics, if i can get a hold of them I thought about the movie turtles having to deal with toulons puppets.
