So there's a beta out? I'll download the APK and check it out, but as "enjoyable" as it may be it's still a trash mobile game and will have all the flaws all free to play mobile games do.

Weird how the game has the original logo, some of the characters have FW designs, some have original designs, and some have the toy designs. Wish they had stuck to one art style, either all original or based on the toys, this mix and match is meh.

If we can expand the cast to any Turtles verse I'll be hooked for a bit, if not I'll just mess around with it. I guess I just want a new TMNT game and this is the closest I'll get, last TMNT game I played I think was the TiT remake

I bet Karai's design is taken from SNES Tournament Fighters. Which is based on her Mirage design, if I am not mistaken.

Meh. Been a while since I played one of those kinda games. And it does have the "Fallout Shelter" Sewer management that I liked back then. Might take this but I dont know if I will loose interest since it took me only two days to stop playing the Assassins Creed mobile game.
It's those kinda games that the first time you watch everything you are doing then the next day, you just put the game aside while doing something else, waiting for something to happen.

I just learned about this today. Is this a never ending thing with updates every month of building teams and joining alliances like i am used to in Marvel Contest of Champions or a game of levels to play through or some mix of the above?

It looks like it is 90% 1987 cartoon which has me very invested.

Most interesting thing about this game for me is that it uses Playmates toys designs for some of the characters and Fred Wolf for others.
And they've remembered some of the obscure characters, like Tempestra and Super-Irma. And even brought in Karai who never was part of FW series and OG Playmates toy line.

I was under the impression that was just released. It is not released until an unknown date in September? I do wonder if a certain fan-made game did inspire this. It also is something TMNT to look forward to for all ages. I am curious if there is a game play storyline or if it will be collecting character boosting them over time and interactive alliances like some mobile games that will expand every several weeks little by little. The designs and character possibilities have me excited.

I hope it is a bit more involved than turn-based RPG stuff.
However with 6 abilities per character, even RPG can be interesting, if its done right.

Grabbed the APK and started it. Very addictive and they're pretty generous with the resources to power your heroes up. A bit disappointed that Slash and Tokka are both limited to the highest-rank gacha, but I got Leatherhead as my first, so I'm cool for now.

Also found another character in the game as an enemy that's most likely gonna be added in a future update while playing:

Or do all bosses render larger than normal?
