Walmart near me, for some inexplicable reason, stocked the latest Marvel Legends. I was able to snag a Punisher figure. the only one of the new series I've had an interest in since Ghost Rider.

Is he as small as the others? Optimus and SHockwave are tiny.

I'm waiting for the Voyager class Grimlock and Soundwave.

Not a big score, but a nice one, nonetheless.

He seems slightly larger than Shockwave anyway, sad how small they made Shockwave. I'm not home and don't have them OOP to compare yet. Even sadder, how much smaller this line is compared to WfC... Those seemed much larger. Regardless, Starscream has the hollowed head, so the eyes glow rather than simple, painted eyes like Optimus. I'm getting the terminology for this wrong but most of you know what I mean.

I'm starting to eye some of the Marvel Select figures I passed on, like the Avengers Hulk & Iron Man. In the words of Jim Carrey, "Somebody stop me!"

I think the term you were looking for was "Light Piping."

In regards to the Marvel Select stuff. I got a few of the Disney store ones, I'm waiting to find an individual release of the Flash Thompson Venom, and the regular Venom, whenever those come out.

Ah yes, that's the term. Thanks! :)

That's awesome Theli! I'm on an Iron Man kick myself lately.

Pre-ordered Figma Pit and Figma Dark Pit from amiami.com :) These are characters from Nintendo's Kid Icarus Uprising game on the 3DS. Great game.

As with all Figmas they are highly poseable and come with great accessories, interchangable hands and faces and stands for enhanced posability options.

Daddy's last stash for a while!

Brodie 12-21-2012 07:28 PM

Is that Onslaught in some 3.5 inch series or just an older 6 inch?

And where did you find that Spidey set?

Are all of them made with some sort of translucent plastic???? The images I found look like Scorpion and Spidey are, but I cant tell with Hobgoblin or Carnage.

EDIT: I ordered it for 12.97 on Amazon. You're a goddamn enabler!

Onslaught's from an older set. There is no 3.75 line Onslaught yet.

$12.97? Lucky dog. $27 at TRU for me. They all do have some translucent-ness at least, yes.

Brodie 12-21-2012 08:36 PM

That's pretty awesome. Not that I need another Spider-Man, but for that price, I can get a decent Carnage, and a cool looking Scorpion. Almost makes up for the fact that I can't track down the Mac Gargan Venom figure in that size.

I got lucky on that Venom when I found him. Took months of searching the 'bay before I found a price I was willing to pull the trigger on.

I just ordered IM and Patriot from the Iron Man 3 line from a Chinese retailer I've done business with before. The figures have sh*t articulation but I'm a total whore so it was either $9.99 plus free shipping for them early or $9.99 plus tax months from now.
