That's one of the uses, yes. But the Kraang also describe the humans as ugly, such as the moment when Kraang Prime states that they would rid the earth of the ugly human filth (I.E. Mutate the Human Race).
And also the kraang see themselves as handsome even though they are actually quite ugly.
