As said, they knew Earth was safe. Shredder was defeated and taken out and the current Turtles were there just in case anything else happened.

I bet at some point during Season 5, the past Turtles, April, Casey Jones and Fugitoid will return to Earth.
in Season 5, I bet Renet will show up and fix the timeline.
