I don't think it would be a cruel fate, after all the turtles have been through wouldn't it be nice for them to have a peacful ending? Oh well I guess i'm in the minority in the returning to normal turtles ending.
Although I like the every one becomes aware of the turtles but don't know exactly where they are ending. Although it seems more like an ending for the classic cartoon. The one it should have had.
