Yes you can do that to video files...i'm gonna try make a little guide and post it here later when it's done

Edit: ok, this is what you have to do...
Download virtual dub (get it here:
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/v...Dub-1_4_10.zip ) and then unzip it to a folder, go to that folder, and double click in VirtualDub.exe, a window should pop up (duh)
Now click on "file", click on "open video file..."

And select the episode that has the opening by double clicking in it

Now move the little arrow to the beginning of the opening

And then click on "file", and click on "set selection start"

Now you will have to move the little arrow again, but this time to the *end* of the opening

And then click on "edit", and click on "set selection end"

Now click on "video", and click on "compression"

Now select the codec you want to compress the video with and then click "OK", i recommend "DivX

MPEG-4 Low-Motion" because it kicks your beloved butt

Now click on "file", and click on "save as avi"

And now the final step, write the filename (by example yousuck.avi) and click on gua--errr...um...whatever that button might be in the english version of windows...probably "save" or something like that...

If a window like this appears:

Just click on yes, probably nothing will happen, i've used divx to convert lotsa' stuff and it never crashed...
Now wait for the file to save...that's *IT*!YOU DID IT, YOU MEGA-GENIUS OF VIDEOEDITING!!!
Well that's how you cut it, im gonna post how to paste it later, because right now i'm too bored.Should you have any problem(s) in the process of cutting the video, feel free to ask me, for i might as well ignore you...or help you out.
Happy video-cutting!
