I haven't read too many fanfics yet, I'll have to start checking them out.
As for the cartoon, I hardly think a character who appeared in one or two episodes could be considered a girlfriend. A "crush"? Yes. But perhaps thats for the best. Wouldn't want all the female readers to be jealous, now would we?
