Note: I'm starting this thread in the General TMNT Discussion forum, but an admin may choose to move this to the Forum Games forum. I was going to place it there, but the Guidelines thread says that only word games requiring some creativity from the players are allowed, so I'm not sure where this thread should go.

I got this idea from mattbib from the Avengers forum on Comic Book Resources, and it's a lot of fun. So I thought I'd share it with the folks here, but with a TMNT twist. The rules below are adapted from mattbib.

Here is a list of many (not all, unfortunately, since there are so many) of the characters from most of the TMNT universes. I do not have a complete list of TMNT characters in my possession, so I got as many as I could find while leaving out certain ones (such as characters that have only appeared in TMNT video games). You will not find any of the four ninja turtles in this list because I'm certain that they would be the only ones to survive until the end. All characters start off at 10 points, but every post someone may add one point to a character and subtract one point from a character.

PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE PLAYING

You can post once every 5 turns (there must be AT LEAST 4 posts between your votes).
OR after one hour has passed with no other action.
Copy the list from the most recent post. Remember to delete the previous poster's +/-. And be certain to edit your own post quickly if someone else has posted between the time you copied the list and posted your turn.
Remember, you can only add to one character each turn and subtract from one character each turn (thus affecting only two characters per turn).
You MUST indicate your action with a + or - sign. It'd be nice if you highlighted or bolded the name too.
There is a 20 point cap per character.
When a character has no points left, he/she is eliminated.

EDIT: Rules corrected to allow the game to progress a little faster. Players may now add to one character and subtract from one character each turn.

EDIT #2: If you're having trouble remembering some of the more obscure characters, check out this wikipedia article. This is where I got most of the names for this game.

EDIT #3: I've decided to maintain an "eliminated" list on this first post so people can see how long each character lasted.

ELIMINATED: (These are listed in the order they were eliminated, so Vernon is listed as least popular, not most popular.)
