Yeah, if the rumors are to be believed, John will get killed by the T-850, then his skin and memories put onto/into a reprogrammed Terminator to make people think John doesn't die to carry on as a figurehead.

I see fans lashing out at the idea... but I think it's kind of cool. It's thinking outside of the box.

You want to know what's not cool, though? Terminator 4 being PG-13. Here it is, the Future War, what we've been waiting to see since the beginning (many/most of us thinking we'd never see)... machines gunning down TechCOM in the trenches of a post-apocalypse, humans on the run with only a paltry resistance to fight back to Saving Private Ryan-levels of gritty warfare... and apparently it'll just all be neutered.
