I'm pretty calm about it myself, most of the time. Though in this example, the other guy was already being a bit of a rude prick. Though, I suppose two wrongs don't make a right, and it'd probably be better to calmly explain things first. But with a remark like that, I pretty much expect the other person to not even listen.
