The responses here are not realistic. Nick wants this show/movie/franchise to be a major hit. They're not going to treat it like a regular show.
The 4kids series never had particular great ratings, the toyline floundered by its third year, the 2007 movie didn't do great in the box office, and the videogames only sold decently at best.....yet that iteration of TMNT lasted 7 years.
If the 4kids series could have a 7 year and 156 episode success despite never being truly popular outside of the TMNT fandom, you can bet a show airing on Nickelodeon owned by the company itself will last just as long or longer.
