Just got this news in from a very reliable source regarding the upcoming Dreamwave TMNT comic:

"Dreamwave's new TMNT book is almost guaranteed to be excellent. Pat Lee is a genius. he broke the book down to it's base characteristics:

Teenage Angst
Team
Violence
Green
Things that naturally live in the water, but are up on dry land

and then he took the writer with the most acclaim on all of these combined subjects.

that's right, the writer of the new Turtles book is the same guy who has legendary runs on Aquaman, The Incredible Hulk, and Young Justice...Peter David. (and he's doing it because his daughters are fans and threatened to disown him)"-Grail

Holy crap! A year ago after seeing that less than inspiring Mirage series out, I only dreamed Drewave would do for TMNT what they did for Transformers...wow.
