I mentioned this in the last TMNT on DVD thread. To see the way Artisan may release TMNT and other cartoons, look at how they're doing their upcoming release of Speed Racer.
It contains the first 11 episodes and is called volume one. I believe TMNT will get the same treatment. At least the first 5 episodes.
