To be fair, WWE is a real company and thus the legal liability if someone gets permanently injured on their dime is far more substantial.

AEW is an indy fed with a TV deal, so I'm sure their "medical clearance to compete" is exactly the same as the places I work for. I.e., "Did you sign the waiver? Okay good LoL."
