Which makes a lot of sense. Its the same reason Nick bought the 4kids cartoon for $10 million so they could own everything. I'm willing to bet they tried to buy the original cartoon too but Lionsgate won't give up the rights.
With Lionsgate its not a big deal since the entire original cartoon was released on DVD, (and I honestly doubt Nick would bother with blu-ray sets for it), but I really wish they could own all the comics.
