Remember that if you go decades into the past, interracial couples and marriage was outlawed or looked down upon similar to gay marriage now. Back then a white man and black woman getting married was viewed as "wrong" because it wasn't right. I bet if some people here were born decades ago they'd claim blacks and whites should not get married either because it's "wrong."

Things change. Gay people getting married will obviously be the norm decades from now in most countries that aren't the middle east. Black people on TV was considered "woke" and women could not vote in the early 1900's.

It's like some people here never took history class in school. Social norms change every decade, what's happening now is no different than what our parents and grandparents went through and how they were brought up in the world.
