If you're waking up tired after that many hours, you're probably waking up in the wrong part of your sleep cycle. Try a sleep tracking app that will wake you up when you're in a light sleep, not deep/REM sleep.

I use Sleep Cycle. Sleeping the right amount of hours has been giving me 100% quality sleep. Getting less (which I do during the week), gets be between 60–70%.
