I love what the Marvel films have been able to do, but just stop and think how well it's worked out for copy-cat DCEU, Universal's "Dark Universe," and the King Arthur-verse. I'll admit I'm curious to see what happens with the Hasbro G.I. Joe/Transformers plan, though I have no love for the Bay-films.

TMNT can only make it work in comics, and IDW has been doing a great job with it.
