Waaaaay before Dragonball was popular in the states, me and a group of friends use to translate various Manga for free to help us with our fluency in Japanese. We had fun with it where it led us to our degrees in Foreign Languages in college. Naruto was another manga we have translated also. Our group was called "dattebayo". With our work regarding online translation, we have pulled in many readers online to appreciate anime and manga. You can basically go to any bookstore and find the original colored pages of Dragonball inside of graphic novels. Some book covers also has tanned colored Saiyans on the front. In order to reach the western audience, Shueisha made everyone white except Mr. Popo.
