ETA: According to a friend, Jason struggled with mental health for quite a few years. He struggled with the losses of multiple friends and family over the years - including many who died by suicide. Even though he had thousands of fans, he often felt very lonely. Losing his mother to cancer back in 2018 was especially tough on him.
