Official Episode Discussion S2 #11 "Metalhead Rewired"

Yeah... this screams 'bad idea' all over the place. Considering Donnie had lost control of Metalhead to a Kraang and nearly got his brothers obliterated, you would think that he would have come up with another idea for Metalhead's carcass.

Well, Donnie has tenacity. He won't give up on a project, no matter how grim it may seem on the outside. And Yes... that is a very loaded statement.

Donnie states he programmed Metalhead with fighting styles of the turtles, Shredder's foot clan, AND the Kraang. Either Don walks around with cameras a la Survivorman, OR... he's been copying notes and whatever he can cram in from youtube videos.

Some people are assuming that this is just a 'filler' episode. But fillers aren't always what they seem...

Keep your eyes peeled, I'm sure more will be added to this before Saturday night...

saw the episode.....now I'm sad.....poor Metalhead....

all the feels....cute little metal turtle....*sobs*

also....this episode explains where all the mutants went, so that was nice ^_^

And even Slash was there.

Edit: I wonder if seeing the Turtles rescue them, will make the other mutants be less... hostile towards them in the future?

Here are my first impression notes:

- I like how they address the problem with reprogramming Metalhead.

- The R2-D2 scream was a nice touch I'll admit

- Boy, these writers just LOVE using mikey as a punching bad don't they?

Dr. Rockwell was there and I'm pretty sure I saw Justin as well. My favorite line in this one: "..the ones who are turtles which I call frogs!"

Not sure how Mikey got his fat flipper that far up the vending machine. I've got fingers like paper thin and can barely get past the inner flap. That some ninja skills alright.

Heh. Not a bad episode. It was nice to see those mutants again and it was pretty interesting to see them tie into the Kraang's scheme of things. Mikey and his antics helped yet again also.

Overall not a bad episode.

With all the new characters coming in, there really doesn't seem to be any need for the Metalhead character anymore, seems the whole trust arc will be Donnie's brothers doubting him and will be answered when Metalhead sacrifices itself for them. Cool episode, I loved seeing all the mutants again, Justin, Rockwell, Pete, all those filler mutants. Pretty sad ending though

Great episode and it answered all the plot holes. So the mutants weren't all roaming the streets, they all got captured by the Kraang.

It's interesting to note that Newtralizer wasn't there, and neither was Leatherhead.
