It would have to be a villain the Turtles haven't met hence the unknown.

The only characters we know are coming that have not been introduced to the turtles as of yet are Bishop, Armaggon, and the Triceratons.

Bishop's character sounds like he would be different from his 2k3 origin. That is if the book can be believed.

We know Zog is appearing in the following episode so Triceraton's are possible.

And Armaggon is a bounty hunter with a taste for Turtle so it's also possible. But it's also possible that the person also can be a complete surprise that we never saw coming.

It might be Ninjara (who began as a henchwoman to Chien Khan, maybe she'll work for Hun now), Alopex, Lotus Blossom, or Tempestra, going off the Minane Noji guess.

I just have this feeling that, since the writers seem to love referencing horror movies, it's going to be giving us a lot of "Saw" references. We'll hear the altered voice going "We're going to play a little game" and they could even mock the "Yes, there will be blood" line, but replace it with something like "Yes, there will be pain."

But seeing as how it's almost the end of season 3 and bringing in a villain that has potential to be a stand-alone villain separate from the Foot or whatnot, then my theory will most likely be debunked.

The 6th was when it aired in UK, so someone from there could probably tell us who the unknown enemy is.

EDIT: Never mind, it was 12 weeks ago. So less than 3 months ago. Probably she has a role in helping Karai in a way. (I hope it's a character from a previous incarnation or someone entirely different.) We should be hyped because this week might have some hints from promos on who it is... Hype is coming back!

I really like your idea. The only thing is, like you said, they may not add another sort of mutant-of-the-week type villain as they are about to end season 3 and start a big arc. But then again, there was pizza face.

We simply wanted to keep it a secret. Since the Turtles didn’t know who was trapping them (or in Donnie’s and Mikey’s cases even realize they were being trapped) for the first third of the episode, it was important to maintain the surprise and not spoil anything.
