Once Again Getting Nowhere With Playmates

Well I've had enough I wrote to them today I also wrote to Dan @ ninjaturtles.com poor guy they don't even give him a list.....I mean seriously we never know whats coming out....like almost all other toy companies tell people when the toys will be hitting the shelves....but no not playmates....they want to hide everything....I mean I still havn't seen Usagi!

This is what I wrote and what she wrote back to me k ok kay!
Subject: some ninja turtles questions
Just have a quick question can you perhaps give me some sort of list of the normal figures coming out by this I mean Gen, Yoshi, fudal Japan shredder, etc.
I'm gonna go nuts if I don't see some secondary characters soon lol
I really must say though we still need some other characters out there like a normal Baxter, bishop, touch and go I'm sure you guys are working on something though...
long time turtle fan and forever

I don't have a list of any of the future figures coming up but if they are very popular they will be done eventually.

you'd think they would think quarry was getting popular? and how many times scince the start of the line has people been asking about angel, purple dragons, saki, and stockman? I ask about them and others who one who watches the show would think "i wonder if i can get an action figure of them?" well, thats wat i ask myself. season one is over, i would understand if they never make a quarry figure, i wont like it, but i understand why not working on her this stage of the game. but to not have karai, bishop, touch, go, and zanramon? thats crazy. I wonder how playmates is judging popularity. cuz in the "choose your favorite turtle" polls, its only the four turtles.

Hey, me too. It was right next to the Shedder with a jetpack and the Leo in medieval knight armor. After I was done laughing I put it back.

I still find it disheartening that its practicly may, and we have no new waves out scince febuary? The last figures I picked up were Damiyo, Butterfly Sowrds, and Assasin. That was in January I beleive. Last year there was a new wave every month or so. with awsome characters might I add! I flipped out when I got Leatherhead for easter! And then they came out with Fugitoid, Triceritons, Mozar, Usagi, it kept gettign better, every month! Now this stinks, we dont even know WHATS coming out, let alone when! Nice screw up playmates, real nice

I don't think Pete has the ability to tell Playmats when to release figs...sure, he has alot of say in the design and maybe the packagin...but I sincerely doubt he has anything to do with release dates...

Popular, but with no figure out yet:
Karai
Baxter (what they made up, was never in the series)
Bishop
Nobody
Touch
Go
Saki
Yoshi
Angel (Though I doub't there will ever be one. Just adding to the list)
Quarry (even thought this one has be in the makeing so say, I don't know, YEAR?!)
Utrom Shredder (wouldn't be surprised if they did this with the Shredder version from Exodus)

I want my Karai ;.;

Honestly, I want Karai, Bishop, Nobody, and even though I don't care much for Quarry, the three year wait just makes me want her more. I mean, Stonebiter and Razorfist came out first, and they were in production at the same times as Quarry.

I think PlayMates is in a very lazy mode right now. Even the last few figures released seemed kind of half @$$ed. I mean come on, Ultimate Diaymo and Ultimate Ninja had hardly any articulation and just over all seemed like PlayMates didn't really care if they were good figures and only wanted to make a quick $5.99 on these. I hope PlayMates gets their act together and fast.

Then tend to 'beef' up the toy selection when we are coming up to the holiday season and it overflows into early the following year... But for the rest of the year, they really need to give us more than a few figures every few months. I cannot wait until November to stock up on a whole year worth of figures! And by then, many of the current selection of characters won't be making their appearances in the cartoons anymore and their "popularity" with children won't be as great.
