But then again, I kind of marathoned the 4Kids series... so watching it all at once may have skewed my perception of how quickly certain things occurred.

Yeah, I see what you mean. Still given its confirmed the Kraang are from another dimension, its pretty much a given they'll travel to space/Dimension X eventually, probably in Season 2.

The difference is this show is in CG, so it takes more work to create the "sets" for alien enviornments than 2D cartoons.
