MAJOR SPOILERS (If you haven't seen "Annihilation: Earth!" yet, please don't read!)
I was really impressed with this episode ending the way it did. It was very action heavy and consistent yet very emotional at the end. Shredder killing Splinter on screen was just brutal but I really appreciated that the show got to actually show and do that. I thought this finale was the best one yet of this series and I really enjoyed season two's finale. The Triceratons were a major threat and blew up Earth for goodness sake! Captain Mozar was great and I really liked Michael Dorn as his voice. A very perfect choice for Mozar. Overall the Nick show really nailed the Triceratons for me. They were a serious threat and really took care of their business mercilessly in the episode. I loved the debut of the Roadkill Rodneys! That was a very nice addition to The Technodrome scenes. I really liked Bishop and that surprised me. It's neat to have the Utroms be involved in some way in the Nick series as well. With what little of Fugitoid we saw, he seems like he'll be a fun character. It was also great to see Leatherhead and Slash fight the Triceratons who are such big enemies to fight. And then Splinter convincing Shredder to help fight the Triceratons was great to see. I'm always a sucker for that type of thing in shows or movies. It was great and very interesting to watch while it lasted. Tiger Claw really did help out, and when I thought about it, he was the only one who had actual experience fighting Triceratons (not including the turtles and maybe Bishop). So it seemed he wanted to fight them to actually help. And I did like his reaction to Shredder's actions at the end. Very interesting that he would question Shredder killing Splinter. I really liked seeing Shredder and Splinter fighting together against the same enemy. I still can't get over the "moment" though. Shredder killing Splinter in that way, blades through his back. Whoah! Just an amazing episode.
