Season 3 has come and gone, the Earth's destroyed and we're all dead. But I think we can still have fun while in the quantum singularity of a black hole now can't we?

So now that all of Season 3 has aired, it's time to find out which episode is deemed the best by us, the forum.

It is the TMNT Season 3: Best Episode Tournament! Both the Season 1 & Season 2 finale took the top prize in our previous installments of this, will the Season 3 finale complete a sweep? Let's find out.

For those who are new or are unfamiliar with this, I'll give a brief low down on the process:

This tournament is done in standred single elimination format, an episode wins, it advances; an episode loses, it's out. Simple as that. Here is a link to the previous two years to give you an idea of how these are run.

Q: How are the seeding/rankings determined for this?

A: Well that's where you guys come in. If you wish to contribute, all you have to do is post in this thread/or PM me a list of your Top 12 favorite episodes, 1 through 12.

Q: Why Top 12 and not Top 10?

A: Only because since there are 24 feature episodes (26 Episodes/2 Two Parters = 24 Total Episodes) It means that you make your top half episodes. Other than that, no real reason.

Q: "Is it important how I list/rank my episodes?"

A: In a way, yes. That's because each of the 12 episodes you list will recieve points based on where you rank them. So I.E.

: The episode you list as your #1 episode will recieve 12 points from you.
: The episode you list as your #2 episode will then receive 11 points.
: #3/10, #4/9, ect. until your #12 episode will receive just 1 point.
: All episodes not on your Top 12 list will recieve 0 points from you.

Q: How does this work exactly?

A: This episode ranking stage will be open for 7 days. I will officially close list rankings after that. Once this happens, I will tally up all the points each episode collects and that will determine the official seeding for each episode, and will probably give one or two updates before then to give you an idea of where everything stands. The Top 8 episodes voted by the thread's voters will receive a bye in the opening round of matches, Episodes ranked 9-24 will face off in Opening Round Polls, pitting the best episode vs. the worst episode (9 vs. 24, 10 vs. 23, 11 vs. 22, 12 vs. 21, 13 vs. 20, 14 vs. 19, 15 vs. 18, & 16 vs. 17) the winner of those matches (Voted on by you) will advance to face one of the Top 8 episodes in the next round. Tiebreakers will be explained if they end up happening.

Q: How long will match/poll last?

A: Round 1 polls will last 3 days each and will be private polls.
Round 2 polls will last 5 days each and will also be private
Round 3 polls and on will last 7 days and votes will be public to the thread.

The final episode standing after all matches are done will be deemed worthy of being called the best episode of Season 3. Remember, this is done purely for fun and entertainment for us, nothing more.
