I thought he was banished to Dimension X, not a black hole dimension. He said his space fleet was spread through out the galaxy in the turtle's universe. I don't think Dimension X is his home dimension. He doesn't have nearly as much knowledge about it as Mung, never said he was from there specifically and didn't even know Krang.
