In the comics Shredder is just a human being. He gets killed in Issue #1 of the original comic series. His foot clan gather his body parts, and has these genetic worms feast on them to clone him. The first three are failures, but the 4th is a perfect clone. This one bites the big one, when Leo decapitates him.

In the very first issue shredder dies???? I never knew that. So his forth clone was the return to new york shredder, who was decapitated?? Is the rest of the season the same as the comics?
