Sony's Spider-Man 4 (sequel to "No Way Home")

Even if so, we JUST got that realized Batman at the end of Begins. And then it's time for the big Joker movie.

It'd be like being a kid, building your favorite action figure limb by limb... then when you're done building it, your parents take it away immediately.

Then you have an 8 year gap between TDK and Rises, but the movie assures you that absolutely nothing happened.

So dumb. The end of Dark Knight made me just think, "Oh OK, Batman just has to be extra careful now when fighting criminals because now the cops are gunning for him for a while, too, until this blows over or gets cleared up." In no way at all did I take that ending to mean, "Batman is retiring, effective immediately." I was also fairly sure we'd even pick up not long after Dark Knight with a mostly-fine Two Face still around because that "Death" was pathetic.

The Dark Knight Rises has a ton of flaws, but only really on a fundamental level. Like, this is NOT the movie we should be getting this early. We're missing one, maybe two Batman movies in the middle here.

But I really like what they did with Bane and Talia, overall. I'd have much preferred Bane to actually take venom and it be a supersteroid, though, of course.
