What first got you interested in the turtles?

When I was a child I had no interest in the turtles, though my friends would sometimes invite me upstars, you see I used to live in a block of flats upstars. I'd come up to their place finding them glued to the TV watching the old toon. The only episodes I saw was Leonardo is Missing, Adventures of Rhino Man and The Adventures in Turtle-Sitting. Years later I saw The Next Mutation on the TV, didn't pay much attention to it either though...

Times have changed, I think it was July 2003. I was watching TV, I saw things change, at first I thought it was the old toon, but I kept thinking the animation looked different. I was gonna switch it off, but something kept me watching. After that I began secretly watching the show in my room with the some really low (Afraid to admit it). About the time The Unconvincing Turtle Titan aired I admited it to my mum, but I was still afraid to admit it to my sister.
