Already owning all the 2k3 DVD's and FF, I don't mind this approach. Sometimes at night I pass out watching my DVD's. Thing is, when I wake up, I like for episodes or movies to still be playing so the menu image doesn't burn into my 57 inch HD widescreen. So having the same ammount of episodes as season 4 or FF volume 1, is entirely fine with me.
Oh and there's the issues that the end of my 400 disc DVD player is going to be filled with both Turtle series overtime, makes this approach even better. 2k3 Season 1 comprised of 8 DVD's now shrunk to 4. I'll take that. 2k3 Season 2 comprised of 6 DVD's now shrunk to 4. I'll take that. Yea, six disc loss already, I like them odds. Leaves more room for all the blockbuster movies of yesteryear. Oh and the kicker to all this is my assumption. Taking their time to release each part of each season, allows for more people to find out about the Turtles. The more that people keep buying things Turtle related, the more we might keep seeing a show on the air. -X- |
