The Mystery of the Mango

Okay, I have a question for all you veterans of these forums.

What is up with the mango? Why is a mango given to the new members? Why do only certain people get to hand them out? How many posts do you have to have posted before you earn that privledge?

I am not saying this in a negative way, but I am curious as to how this all started.

I want to be able to hand out mangoes, too! *Stamps feet like a four-year old*
