One of the TributeGames dev members confirmed Shredder's Revenge to be around 1GB in size, strategically optimized from around 4-5 GB:

I applaud their efforts, but is 4-5 Gigs are really that big of a deal nowadays?

Considering the Switch was the first targeted console (and you are limited with digital titles by non-cloud storage space), I certainly appreciate the efforts. But 4-5 was what I would have expected, honestly.

Mortal Kombat 11 feels crazy big (maybe 17GB with all the bells & whistles).

I wouldn't be surprised that when the Shredder's Revenge DLC gets the greenlight, maybe they don't worry quite so much about optimization and the game quickly balloons in size.

There is a June 10 rumor going around, but nope. Nothing official. Some dude swears he saw an early GameStop flyer with CC on it, but I would not trust it.

Final Fantasy 7 remake is literally 100GB so this 12GB is literally nothing tbh.

If the leaks are to believed, Cowabunga Collection set to have a late August release date.

Someone has been exploiting the PlayStation Store's ability to sort upcoming games by their hidden release date info, and correctly guessed Stray, Shredder's Revenge and a few others.

I hope this comes out as soon as possible, they should ride the hype of Shredder's Revenge as it lasts.

Feeling more and more like this game is going to have a later summer / early fall release if I had to guess. Based on what some Digital Eclipse team members are saying on Twitter, Konami might be waiting to advertise more as to not confuse general audiences that aren't aware of the two differences.

That said, this makes me happy to see ...

Let's just say that the Cowabunga collection was a major labor of love on both the side of the dev team and publishing team. I don't even want to say anything else so that nothing is spoiled.

I would totally get this if i had the money because it'd mean i could get to play TMNT Arcade and the arcade version of Turtles in Time in multiplayer again, i used to do that in MAME (through "Kaillera") over a decade and a half ago, but i doubt that is still a thing, and this is almost guaranteed to have players available for online coop.
But i don't so sadly i will have to pass n.n,,,

I don't care much for the others, although online support for TMNT III manhattan project would have been nice too...
I do think it's awesome that we are finally getting proper re-releases for pretty much all of the konami TMNT games we all know and love from the 90s. After so many license back and forth over the decades, i am glad it is finally happening. Many of these games haven't seen official release in around 2 decades.
I am also VERY happy that they got "Digital Eclipse" to handle the emulation.

Konami FINALLY broke their silence via the PS Blog with a little history of Bebop and Rocksteady's presence in the collection in both write-up AND video form.

Still no confirmed date yet, but hopefully the August 30th rumblings and the "real soon" at the end of the linked post are a good sign. The video features our first look at the menus (including some Mirage art for the first NES title's screen) as well as our first footage of Fall of the Foot Clan and Back From the Sewer running in the collection.
