wow so the general responce is the NEW SHOW ROCKS look how many people turned outtoday. But here is the big question who will be watching tmnt? us big kids and old fans or the kids?

And yeah, I noticed the colored grips on their weapons way back in the preview pics Fox Box put out. You can alos see it like that on the Mirage website too.

Someone else had asked if Mike and Raph fight like that in the Mriage comic. YES! Well, Raph isn't pushing Mike down, but they do have the rivalry going. His voice does sound too rough, compared tot he others, but I guess I can live with that.

Anyone else like how they drew the front of the Turtle's shells? That's the only thing that's bothering the heck out of me. It hardly looks very slimming. ugh.

I dont think its a rivalry between Raph and Mike, just playful brother fights. Raph/Leo is the rivalry and it was sooo good how they clashed!

Another thing I loved...the coutdown!! 00:00:05..4, 3, 2, 1: "my name is leonardo" Great beginning!!!!

OCT - old cartoon
NCT - new cartoon

Or for all you transfans
G1 - old cartoon - or NTG1, TMNTG1
G2 - new cartoon - or NTG2, TMNTG2

I still don't get why that line was in the show but other than that it kicked mega ass. I can never look at the guys the same way again, it was kinda like an ep of Spider-man the way they moved, it was so cool. I love how they seem to be doing don. I just hope we don't get those poses/scenes before the guys fight each time

I think it will be old fans. I got my lil brother to watch it he got bored didn't like it and asked to watch the old show.

Yes. This was deff the most amazing show I've seen. Awsome action! Hilarious humor! By the way, I didnt see anyone write about this yet, I may have missed it, but what about the beginning where Splinter has them all take a knee before him, and Mikey's so fascinated by trying to catch the fly thats around him instead of actually listening to Splinter. I thought that was so great.

I like TMNTG1 - old toon, and TMNTG2 - new toon the best

and when he was trying to catch the fly.
it was also cool when that mouser clamped onto splinters robe, and he hit it off with his tail. i dont remember lots of the old show, but did they have his tail moving around as much as they do now? it looks cool when it moves

I had to tape the episode, because I missed the premiere. It was excellent. It was darker than the first toon, and the fighting was more exciting.

I think it will be old fans. I got my lil brother to watch it he got bored didn't like it and asked to watch the old show.

not to flame you, but if you act around your brother like you do here, bashing the new toon and praising the old one, its not any supprise that he wanted to watch the old one.

i personally like this one more than the old one. this, IMHO, is how the first toon should have been.

granted that the original toon was great for its time... but this one is hands down better. the comedy isn't so random and pointless, its there for a reason other than being silly now. The Foot are stronger so far, the turtles each have more personality to them.
