*ahem* I was totally worried that since the TV Guide(s) listed Nascar on during Turtles time that I would miss this episode. Then I thought, 'Maybe they'll be smart and put the new episode in the early spot.' Then I thought, 'This is Fox...' But they did! *squeal* Only missed a couple seconds, nothing important, and I figured out how to cut the commercials. *happy dance*

I thought this episode was hilarious. I loved all the superhero/comic references. I loved the sparring session with Splinter and the Turtles (Go Sensei!) Eh, I'll just cut to the chase, I loved everything.

'specially sad Raph in the old lair. *hugs sad Raph*

I enjoyed this episode a great deal. Some of the shots were taken almost directly out of Volume 1 Issue 2. I think it's very interesting how the story is unfolding itself. It seems that both Baxter Stockman and the Purple Dragons are aligned with the Foot. This is a departure from the Mirage incarnation of the TMNT. The Shredder in this cartoon sure has some power and connections.

I really love the serial aspect of this show. It sure beats a 30 minute problem/solution one shot. They can be so forced and repetive. Although mixing a one shot in here and there can add a little spice.

Finally has anyone seen the ratings for the new show? I know that Dan Berger claims that they aren't in yet, but I have a hard time believing that. Networks routinely get overnight ratings to judge the success of new shows. I fear this lack of news is an indication that perhaps the ratings were not terribly high, or lower than expected. Although I find that hard to believe because there is certainly a great deal of internet hype; and we all know that internet hype does translate into successful projects.

Hmm most people said all there is to say about the new ep. Anyway I wish I lived in the sewers. Their new home is cooler than most millionaire's home for godsakes. Heck there's a nice little indoor river with a bridge over it and Splinter's door is automatic. One more thing I liked was that this show doesn't show a weak and frail Splinter. He trains the Turtles and can easily kick their butts.

I dont know that anything in this episode was negative. I can't say anything bad. I thought it rocked. Serial fashion rocks, but waiting a whole week stinks!
