Can we just forget about that whole glove thing! I mean, sure it may be a little mistake i suppose, but just let it slide. everybody's missing out on the discussion about the awesome ep because we're too focused on that damn glove! Give it a REST!

(BTW this is for all)

I woulda been here way sooner, but my friends took me out for a belated birthday lunch (and a new Chris Hart book, whoo hoo!)

Anyway, despite the scheduling changes due to the baseball game, I did manage to catch this episode, although I missed the intro. I also could only record the second half because we couldn't find the remote to the VCR.

I just have to say that I think this is my favorite episode of this series so far. The action is great, very suspenseful, and the humor was great. I loved when Mikey was going through the traps (and the look on Splinter's face was priceless.) I also loved the battle with the Foot mystics, and Splinter using the Sword of Tengu (poor Splinter's hands...) But I must say, I think the reason that it burned Splinter, and not Saki the first time he held it, was that Saki hadn't tapped into the sword's "magic".

And on an ending note... Naked Splinter! Whoo hoo! Go sensei! *does a weird dance, then slinks away when she realizes everyone's staring at her*

Continue on.

Another awesome episode. I love the mix of action and humor. Well, I can't really say anything that others haven't already said. I loved it.

I'm already impatient for next week.

I think you nailed it dead-bang, Kali. After all, when Saki held the sword, he didn't use any of its powers like Splinter did when he was kickin' Mystic butt.

Either that, or Shredder just isn't a true master. Maybe master of fighting skils, but no the spiritual side.

This must be my favorite episode yet. I liked everything about it. Baxterbot seems a little bigger than I expected... Can't wait how they finish the story arc.

True its a little thing, but so was mikes bandanna and they adressed that. I'm assuming the reason most of us are bent out of shape is that we expect more from the people doing this show. And its not unreasonable cause they are the one setting this standard by addressing these little issuses (like the banndana) with-in the eps so far. If the people in charger believe they can get away with this its possible they can start thinking they can get away with other small mistakes that could grom to large mistakes. And before you know it the show may look like a Filmation He-Man ep (ok a little far but you get the idea). This is just something they should have addressed

What about the bandana? They showed how Mike fixed it. About the glove, like I said before, maybe Shredder isn't a true master like Splinter is. Neither is worth complaining.

I think the glove issue will be addressed before all is said and done. Let's just wait and see. Patience, after all, is a virtue.

Possibly, there are a lot of things untold about The Shredder.

I agree with you 100%. All things considered, we still don't really know a lot about the guy just yet.

Hey, we don't even know that much about Yoshi either.

No, not much at all. Splinter's tale regarding Yoshi was pretty brief and not very detailed. There's still a good bit of back-story to tell. Maybe a good bit more will be revealed once the Utroms have fully entered the picture.

Yeah, even though in Shredder Strikes Pt. 1 when Splinter says that he has told his sons the whole truth, there's still the background story. I wonder why the turtles have never asked about their past before, cause if I was in that position I would want to know how I came into existence. There's just more to it than has been said.

I think the TMNT knew about their mutation, but Splinter decided not to tell them about Yoshi and Saki.

Yeah, that makes sense. But wouldn't it seem odd that Yoshi suddenly died without any reason?
