New Ep Discussion: "CITY AT WAR"- Updated Again!!! - Page 12

So am I the only one that didn't really care for today's new episode I guess they will all be allot better after seeing them all together though....I mean it was OK but it kinda just seemed like they had trouble trying to go on with the story at certain parts or something like they couldn't decide what to do next......
I don't care what any of you guys say Baxter Stockman really has become my new favorite character in this show and I'm happy to see him surviving so much....I wonder if he will die soon though...
The Baxter Bots are cool I actually am really glad they are in the show it was one of the few things I liked today...because they look almost exactly like they did in the comics....
It was nice to see Hun again and the purple dragons...it's wierd though they just kinda seem out of place in this story for some reason don't know why.....it was also nice to see Casey get in on the action and nice to see April fixing things up as well but that part just kinda seemed forced or something I don't know.....
I really like Karai though she's awesome I've always loved her in the old mirage and the video games....I can't wait till next week the final episode things will get really interesting.
Btw did anyone else think it crazy that Mikey said captain America cause can't they get sued for talking about him?
Over all I give this episode 5 out of 10 stars.
the thing that really ticked me off today though was waiting threw all those other crappy fox box shows......and to not get a damn preview for next week....talk about agrivating..

Um, did you ever see Beetlejuice and he says the line, "Attention K-Mart shoppers!" If a show or movie uses a copyright/registered name, they have to get permission first! Believe it or not, they also have to give credit to songs as simple as "Happy Birthday" because it was written by someone else! Would you believe Donald Trump wants to buy the words, "You're fired!" and then if anyone says it, they'll have to pay HIM? Jeez, it's getting ridiculous out there!

FIVE?! Awww, that's kind of a poor score! What do you want? Best Picture material? A flawless, classic extravaganza soon to hit theaters as well as the Great White Way?! I'm half-alive when the show airs and I still enjoy every minute of it! I like it because it's so much like the Mirage series, something I always wanted to see put into animation! Maybe that's why I'm not too harsh on criticizing it. I thought today's ep was very cool and it set the stage to the final installent of a must-see showdown! Hey, it's late, I'm running low on steam. lol. Great episode, though. Much action, much bickering between Leo and Raph, yep, it was great!

Ugh!!!! I should of gotten up earlier to get the VCR set up. So I didn't get a chance to tape it. I guess I'll have to wait for the DVD to see it again. But I did see it, so here are a few things from what I can recall off the top of my head.

-Karai. She is such a badass. I don't really know what her intentions are with the Turtles, or her true connection/feelings to the Shredder, but she is the most interesting Foot character other than Saki. I guess we'll have to wait for next week's episode to see. But after that, I hope she doesn't disappear. I kinda hope she becomes an ally. Stay tuned on that one.

-Hun fighting against the Foot Elite? Has he betrayed his fallen master? I guess we'll have to wait on that one.

-Finally, Casey gets into the fight! And April's place seems to be getting back to normal. So she did accept the reward money from 'Return of Nano'. Excellent.

-Mikey and 'Captian America, Eat your heart out.' hehe. Comic book geeks loved that!

-Raph and Leo CONTINUE to argue about why they are fighting. Their relationship may start to get strained because of this. That's another thing to keep an eye on.

-What's Baxter Stockman going to do now? Who knows?

Overall, this episode ranks second only after Secret Origins Part III as the best episode of the season. However, I think next week's episode should take the cake. I just wish I could watch this episode again. Oh well. I guess I'll live. Oh one more thing: I hope their is a teaser of the Shredder's survivial in next week's episode, to prepare us for his return. hehe

No I have never ever seen the movie beetle juice.... the only reason I said that is because marvel are money grubbing tight wads who beat dead horses over and over

I didn't like it all that much ...but please don't rag on me it's not cool...thanks...I didn't say it was horrid..I just didn't like it I also hated that fox has like 500 breaks it kinda ruens things a bit I guess....it was ok part 3 I am sure will be the best....I really didn't like this episode because it wasn't really that much differnt from last week.....I gave plenty of things I liked from the episode...and last but not least I don't have to like everything.....personally lets see my least favorite thing in the show has to be Hun I think he's an ass....but I guess thats who he's suposed to be mikey gets on my nerves to be honest....I hardly ever list the things I don't like would you like me to continue with my list or shall I continue with my prase of things i like while you continue to rag on me

First off, I can never tell what's happening on the other end of monitor screens and I hope you didn't take my ragging as a serious, personal blow. I honestly respect your opinions both negative and positive and my way of ragging was like a nudge, nudge, tease, tease sort of thing. I'm like that in a lot of places online...and offline.

well then I am sorry to you I thought you were being an ass to me like many here seem to be even though I constanly give info and help and get ignored.....I know a hell of allot about the tmnt I guess thats not very important lmao but anyways.....I guess I'm just used to having my guard up around this place...and to be honest thats really sad...I just want to be a tmnt fan and enjoy something that has brought me a life time of happyness without havint some one shove things down my throat and I wish the site was a happy place...but you will always have the haters.

Nope, I'm with you on that one. For a story based on a 13 issue comic, this episode really didn't tell us much. Hun is a purple dragon and karai kicks butt, but those two were pretty obvious from the beginning.

It goes from one of the best episodes to one that's almost down with the croc episode, fighting to be the worst episode of this season, strange

The foot elite aren't Shredder...remember Hun was Shredder's right hand man, NOT the elite. Hun said he's trying to take over the city in memory of Shredder, so if anything it's likely that the elite foot are doing thier own thing. Heck now that I think of it...have we actualy seen a dragon fighting a foot ninja yet? Maybe Hun's actualy trying to controll both of them from the shadows?

In the first Episode they Only Showed 3 Foot Elites, The Double edged Sword, The Sear and the Trident

In the second Episode, they showed all 4 of the Foot Elites! Hopefully, They will all be in the conclusion of this story arc

UP will now be charging any train model maker for using their colors & logos on their models. They're the first to do that. jerks. I hate UP! Money grubbing, poor safety Runaway train last year in LA, what a mess that was, ugly paint schemes anyways...

Good episode, had quite a few Mirage elements this time. The whole arc seems rushed though, and [Spoilers] and Knowing Shredder isn't really dead this time either really puts down the mood. [/Spoilers] But all in all very good episode, one of the best in the series.

Does anyone think it was weird that April was building up the same shop that got burnt down? I thought she would buy new property. Maybe Casey Jones came and said he can fix anything, and built up the place again.

As expensive as real estate is in New York, it would be cheaper for to have a new building built on the same lot. Then to purchase a new lot and then build a new place.

Wow, what an awesome ep! (Would've been here yesterday, but between slowly losing my wits and six people fighting over this damn machine, it's a wonder I get on at all.)

I agree that Karai kicks all! Man she rocks. Totally awesome moves. With Shredder, his fighting mostly relied on strength, but Karai's got speed and agility, which is scarier, if you ask me.

The war just escalates, and the argument between Raph and Leo continues. I would say more, but it's pretty much all been said. Besides, I need to review my tape again.

Though I loved Mikey's opening narrative, about how they took out the Shredder. And then that other time. And then that last time... Not even close to being a direct quote, so sue me.

Your right Karai is a lot more agile than Shredder, I wonder how Shredder was agile at all, what with him being an Utrom in an exoskeleton plus the sharp armor.
