He appeared in two big episodes of the original toon, one being a 1-hour special "Planet of the Turtleoids" where he was destroyed by the Turtles and then was rebuilt in, "Night of the Rogues." The Shredder built him in both episodes in the Technodrome.

He of course had a toy and was also a playable character in TMNT: Tournament Fighters for SNES.

His old toon design is cool:

Kinda wish more detail went into making it look like a robot. The Foot I can understand, people are suppose to mistake them for humans. While Chrome Dome who isn't should be fitted for combat.

I'd say they basically went down the line of early generation TMNT toys and said "okay lets add these guys in season two" some of the inclusions are feeling arbitrary but I don't mind a little "just in name" fanservice.

It was smart to save money and re-use Bradford's ninja suit design for Chrome Dome but I do hope it gets revamped or they The Kraang mass-produce them as robot foot elites, that would make the lack of a distinct look make a bit more sense.

I'm somewhat surprised Mikey didn't notice the similarities to Bradford but then again he and the other turtles probably don't remember Bradford's elite gear all that well as they only saw it a few times. Mikey doesn't really think of Bradford as Bradford anymore either.

Casey is pretty entertaining so far. Can't wait till he meets the turtles but April's probably going to try to avoid that scenario for a little longer for their protection.

you can see that Bradbot/Chrome Dome is a robot by looking at his arms.

My favorite episode of this season so far, anf Ive loved just about all the episodes. I think it had some of the best action of this season as well.

Well Karai knew that the Krang want April alive, so why would she think they would let her kill her. I mean Karai is becoming as blind and close minded as the Shredder.

Awesome episode, but I don't understand why Karai has that personal hate to April. Well, April is a good way to come closer to the turtles and Splinter and hurt them, but it seems Karai doesn't feel indiference to April and really hates her for personal reasons.

My thoughts on the episode.

It was overall pretty great! For some reason I feel as there was too much hype surrounding it. At points I feel it didn't deliver, but there were scenes (most of them) that had me eating these words.

I absolutely loved every single Casey moment because of the camera giving it a "movie" feel. (Particularly when it was sort of 1st person as he drew close to the foot soldiers).

Glad to see April back with the Turtles and Splinter, she could certainly use some more training (and a bigger weapon, IMO, lol). But the fact that the Fan acts like a boomerang, just made it more awesome.

I think Karai is so obsessed with April because she knows Splinter is training her, therefore by taking her out/killing her, she'd feel she got back at Splinter for what he did to her mother (according to Shredder of course). "You took someone from me, now I'll take someone from you".

It was a beastly episode. We got introduced to Chrome Dome. I'd love to see a battle between Metalhead and Chrome Dome, especially now that Metalhead seems to act on his own most of the time.

I'm hoping the Kraang revamp the Chrome Dome design at some point. You never know. Now I'm feeling a bit let down from what everyone has been saying about the reused model lol. Ah well, I'll still buy the figure since we'll undoubtedly be getting one.

Yes. When Karai ordered Chrome Dome to destroy April O' Neil, it retaliated and called Karai a threat. He grabbed April and said that he was taking her to the Kraangs.

Shredder specifically told Karai not to attack the turtles in his absence, but he didn't say anything about April O'Neil. By attacking April Karai knows that more than likely the turtles will get involved, which means she can fight them but when it comes time for judgement from her Father she can argue that she was testing out Chrome Dome and the Turtles attacked and that she shouldn't be punished for defending herself.

Its the same basic premise as when your parents say you can't go out so instead you invite your friends over to stay in. Technically you're obeying their wishes, but also subverting them to satisfy your own ambitions.
