actually, depending on how gutsy they wanna get with the plot, they could kill one of them off for a few eps then bring said one back next season

from my point of view, it would actually work out really smoothly since next season is gonna focus on the mystical/supernatural

Preview for Bat in the Belfry is up! (Oddly enough, not consistent with the URLs of the other previews or in the TMNT section.) April's crystal is getting some focus and causing her mind to go all space case. It also opens some kinda portal at the end when Donnie scans it with his Space Bo that, judging by what Mikey is reading here...

...might bring some Plankton Chips out to play.

They might actually be the characters from Mikey's comic let loose by the portal.

Yeah i do. I don't really care for the her being part of the clan thing that is going on now.

That and the whole Kraang/crystal thing. Just seems like change for the sake of change, honestly.

Her being part of the clan I could get behind, IF it happened in like, the series finale or last season or something. As of right now it just seems kind of out of nowhere. Yeah she's been training and all, but still. I don't think she should be able to keep up with the turtles...they've trained for all their lives and she's trained for what, months? Year or so?

Idk. I just miss her being a normal girl in this show, it felt really cool that she was the turtles only "look" at the outside world for a while. Like how April introduced Mikey to the social network that he met Bradford on, when they went to her school in that one episode...just all of that stuff. All of that stuff was great. Now she's just...I don't even know, honestly? They did a really bad job of explaining what's up with her. And where is her father? It's been so long since we've heard about him, it feels like she just lives with the turtles now.

In the first few seasons I really liked this version of April, but as of late, not so much.

You know that season 5 could be the last season right, so it's probably why they had to rush April's training and becoming a Kunoichi so fast. If it was longer than 5 seasons than I can understand your view.

But at least it didn't turn out like 2K3 April, it was unexpected and she learned a lot faster

It could be but I don't think it will be. TMNT is still going pretty strong with the kids. I bet they sign up for season 6 after they see how Christmas merchandise does. I know my son is back into big time now that they are back in NY. He hated the space episode arc.
