I never knew some pop-ups have soft heads..weird. I never opened any of mine....usually you can tell if it's soft or hard if you look at it closely thru the package though.

Holy crap (again)! I remember seeing that auction a few days ago and thinking I might bid 2 or 3 bucks on it..never dreamed it would go that high...what the heck?

Funny thing, I had a Leo t-shirt from that same "set". It was of him with a Mouser. My mom's been using it as a rag for almost 10 years now.

I've been watching turtles shirts and sewing fabric religiously for over a year now and for some reason truly vintage shirts for adults and unique fabrics have skyrocketed.

I forwarded this on to the Mirage gang incase they want to shut this auction down. It is really easy to shut down an auction when you are the owner of the Intellectual Property.

Well, if you can call it art, I don't believe it warrants a shut down. If someone draws a picture of a ninja turtle, no one is going to shut that down, same with most properties, unless, they mass produce, and even in those cases it really has to get the attention of the owner. Artists do it all the time at conventions selling art and prints of characters that aren't theirs.

Ebay will always side with the IP owner though (cause they dont want to chance the lawsuit).

probably, but it really depends on the owner, if they really even care about it, or really do see it as just another art form.

If every property owner was that possesive over the characters, there would be ALOT of closed auctions. Especially in the art dept.
